Renee Beaulieu, CAS, is a consultant with Building Better Futures who has worked in K-12 education for 30 years as a teacher, principal, and district leader. She brings extensive experience facilitating workshops, training and collaborative experiences that support school improvement, specifically by utilizing effective processes/protocols, and district data to guide the work. Renee serves as a coach for the NYSED OSE MTSS-I Center and specializes in building MTSS systems at both district and building levels with a central focus on Tiered Instruction in academics, behavior and social emotional learning. Renee has also earned the Science of Reading Fundamentals credential from SUNY New Paltz.

Throughout her career, Renee has had the privilege of working with dozens of urban, rural, and suburban districts, engaging with educators in hundreds of classrooms. She has developed system plans with school administration and provided professional development for tiered implementation in the areas of reading, social emotional learning, behavior management and building intervention teams. Her thoughtful, data driven, and culturally responsive facilitation approach with evidence-based school improvement initiatives has positively shaped classrooms, buildings and districts. She guides districts through the process of creating an MTSS plan that is fluid from the general district level into more detailed student intervention plans to enhance the lives of students, teachers and families. Community relationships are developed through her strong passion for creating a welcoming, trauma-informed environment where all voices are heard and valued through an equity lens.
